Trip Introduction

Thorong Peak Climbing located at Annapurna region.it is one of the most popular peaks climbing among the other peaks. Most of the professional trekkers and climbers come to climb this peak shortly to mix-up with the root of Thorong La Pass via Annapurna round. This trail gives us chance to observe Dhaulagiri range, Annapurna range, Nilgiri peak, Tilicho Peak, wonderful landscape of Mustang region with the world’s deepest gorge of Kaligandaki valley etc .It is true that the previous experience is not necessary to climb the Trekking peak. However, you must be prepared mentally as well as physically for this adventurous expedition. This mountain is the shortest possibility to gain a 6000m Peak while doing the famous trekking around Annapurna. The highest point of this Trekking is Thorong La Pass 5416m. From this pass it is the first mountain to the south. This trekking route is mostly deliberate for them who adore enjoying the flora and fauna of panoramic views of Annapurna Himalayan range. The trekking to the area begins with drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and trail continues through Bahundanda via Chamche, Dharapani and Yak Kharka and finally you reach to Throng La pass and overnight near by the pass (5416 m) and Throng Peak (6144 m) climbing, viewing the scenery of mountains you descend down to Muktinath. You will return back to Jomsom then fly to Pokhara, subsequently to Kathmandu.

    Drive early morning Kathmandu to Tal village.

    Trek to Timang.

    Trek to Chame

    Trek to Pisang

  • Day 7

    Trek to Braga

  • Day 8

    Trek to Ice Lake and back to Manang.

  • Day 9

    Trek to Yak Kharka.

  • Day 10

    Trek to Thorong Phedi.

  • Day 11

    Climb up to Thorong Peak Base Camp.

  •  Day 12

    Summit Thorong Peak and back to Base Camp.

  • Day 13

    Trek down To Muktinath

  • Day 14

    Trek to Kagbeni.

  • Day 15

    Trek to Jomsom.

    Flight back Jomsom to Pokhara.
