Mohare Danda Trek is one of those less popular trekking routes in Nepal that are mostly left unexplored by large group of tourists. While that may not sound promising to you, it is a great trek to join if you are searching for something less strenuous and easy. Also, the overall trek allows you to visit Pokhara city and traverse through the stunning Annapurna region of western Nepal that has all the necessary properties of being one of the world’s best trekking destination. Mohare Danda trek is one of the classic treks in Nepal. It combines the visit to Mohare Danda and trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. Mohare Danda Trek is one of the popular trekking trails of the Annapurna region. This is a special and well-designed trail. The trail is good for seeing and enjoying the flora and fauna. In addition to this, it also offers a panoramic view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. This route takes you to the most spectacular mountain scenery.

Itinerary

  • Day 01

    Arrival in Kathmandu

    You will welcome by our representative in airport and transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner

  • Day 02

    Sightseeing in KTM

    Visit the world heritage site with city guide i.e. Swaybhunath, Boudhanath, Bhakatapur.

    • SWAYAMBHUNATH, also known as the monkey temple, is climbed by a long set of steps and has great views of Kathmandu.
    • BOUDHANATH STUPAhas many traditional Gompas hung with strings of multi-coloured prayer flags; it attracts many Sherpa’s and Tibetans for the circumambulations of the stupa (koras).
    • DURBAR SQUARE, which is one of the old capitals of the Kathmandu valley, has a blend of Hindu and Buddhist temples
  • Day 03

    Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (9,50m) 6 to 7 hours.

    Today, we will be driving to Pokhara in the morning after having breakfast. During the journey, you will be seeing the lifestyle of the rural villages. It further offers green hills, rivers, farms, and beautiful scenery. Hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 04

    Drive from Pokhara to Ghumaune Trek to Bas-Kharka (1,525m) 3 hours.

    Today, you will be driving from Pokhara to Ghumaune Tal with beautiful mountain sceneries, Hills, rivers, farms, and villages. After reaching Ghumaune Tal, the trail goes to Jomsom and Muktinath. After having lunch, the trail leads to cross a suspension bridge over the Kaligandaki River to Bas Kharka. You will have to climb a steep trail on a rock. Community Lodge in Bas Kharka.

  • Day 05

    Trek from Bas Kharka to Nagi (2,300m) 5 to 6 hours

    The trek takes you through the large Pun Magar Settlement. Here, you will have a chance to explore Magar culture, organic farm and village school. Homestay at Nagi.

  • Day 06

    Trek from Nagi to Mohare Danda (3,300m) 6 hours

    Today, the trail goes up through the forest of Oaks, Bamboo, and Rhododendrons to Mohare Danda. Mohare Danda is a beautiful place that offers the most amazing Annapurna Range of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Mt. Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world and it locates in the Annapurna region. Lodge in Mohare Danda

  • Day 07

    Trek from Mohare Danda to Ghorepani (2,840m/9,315ft) 3 to 4 hours.

    Today, we will be going to Mohare Danda and Ghorepani. The trail leads us towards the Rhododendron forest and surrounded the Himalayas with magnificent views. After crossing this rhododendron forest, we will be checking into the Lodge of Ghorepani. You can walk around the small market town in Ghorepani. Overnight stay at Lodge

  • Day 08

    Early morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) 1 hour and trek to Ulleri (1960m)

    Today, you will be hiking to the most pleasant place in the early morning i.e. Poonhill. Poonhill is a beautiful place to see the amazing sunrise and spectacular views of Annapurna range and wonderful panoramic views of the 7th highest mountain in the world i.e. Mt. Dhaulagiri. After this, we will trek from Ghorepani to Ulleri (1960m)

  • Day 09

    Trek to Birethanti &Drive to Pokhara

    We are frequently looked up by policemen, souvenir vendors, and of course, monkeys (The real one!!!) we’ll pass through a narrow valley climbing down 3,280 steep stone steps. As we advance forward, we can observe the increase in human settlements proceeding across Hile, Birethanti. And drive to Pokhara
