Trip Introduction

Off the beaten path, this trek we discover the different moods of the Himalayas, from villages and rice fields of medium mountains with dense forests of rhododendrons. Arrived at the base camp Mardi Himal to 4450 m in the middle of the High peaks of the Annapurna’s is simply magical. We begin our trek to 9 days in base camp of Mardi Himal. The Landruk we leave there the traditional path. We reach through dense rhododendron forest. The ridge that leads to the foot of the high peaks of the progressive Annapurna’s. Climbingleads us to high camp and then to the base camp at 4450 m. We are here in the heart of thehigh mountains of Nepalese. On the last period of the trek, we explore the average Nepalesemountains. We are going from village to village and discover the rice fields and terraced fields.To facilitate meeting we sleep with a host, a unique experience to live imperatively! Itinerary

  • DAY 01

    Arrive to Kathmandu (1400 m)

  • Day 02

    Drive to Pokhara (820m)

    6 h drive. Discovering beautiful landscapes along the Trisuli. Free end of the afternoon in Pokhara, a charming little town located on the shores of Lake Phewa. Beautiful city, you can enjoy evening walk in Lakeside. This place enjoys a tropical climate and offers superb east to west views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchare, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu.

  • Day 03

    Drive to Kande (1770 m) and Trek to Deurali via Australian Camp (2165 m)

    After breakfast we drive to Kande. When you arrive, a small climb through terraced crops. We cross a rhododendron forest to reach the ridge and see the spectacular Annapurna range. A slightly steep path brings us to Australian Camp, our stage of this evening, from where we have a breathtaking view of the most beautiful peaks in the region: the Machhapuchare (6.993m), the Annapurna III (7.555m), Annapurna II (7.937m) and Annapurna IV (7.525m).

  • Day 04

    Trek to Forest Camp (2520m)

    The first part of the path is on a forest road. We start in the morning a major climb in the rhododendron forests; we may see some wild animals, including deer and many birds.

  • Day 05

    Trek to Bandal Danda (3080m)

    We will resume the trek starting with a climb in the rhododendron forest to Low Camp. Once arrived, we will have lunch enjoying the landscapes that surround us. In the afternoon, we will climb the ridge of Badal Danda. We will see the yaks with panorama views of mountains.

  • Day 06

    Trek to High Camp (3540m)

    Early morning, beautiful sunrise in the summit of Annapurna south, Hiunchuli & Fishtail. We climb the ridge up to High camp, stunning views landscape of mountains

  • Day 07

    Morning excursion to viewpoint (4250 m) trek back to Bandal Danda (3080m)

    After breakfast we will begin a 2 hour climb towards the Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m). Splendid view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Mardi Himal and Machhapuchare, then relatively steep descent to High Camp.

  • Day 08

    Trek to Siding Village (1700m)

    We will start our hike with a moderate descent under the shade of the forest or above rice terraces at 1,600m. We will follow a path along the Mardi Khola River, seeing the village of Siding on the side of the hill. We will pass by pretty farms, cross beautiful suspension bridges … there is no doubt, and here we will have an idyllic map of Nepal.

  • Day 09

    Trek to Lwang (No 1 Home stay destination of Nepal)

    A long descent will bring us to Lwang, a very beautiful Gurung village specializing in tea cultivation. We are in the heart of the Nepalese medium mountains. We completely change the scenery; many small hamlets dot the hills covered with rice terraces. In the distance we can still see the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurnas massif.

  • Day 10

    Drive to Pokhara and Overnight at Pokhara

    Early in the morning we will visit the tea garden and admire the view of the mountains. Then we will return to Lwang for breakfast. We will walk to Koramukh to take the car that will bring us to Pokhara. End of the afternoon and free evening.
