In the package of five days Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour, at first, we will take a flight from Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft) to Lukla (2,850m/9,350 ft), and from Lukla, we will Trek to Phakding (2650 m/ 8562 ft).

From Phakding (2,650 m/ 8,562 ft ), we will then head to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,285 ft). During the trek, acclimatization day is one of the important things for the physical fitness of the travellers. Hence we will have a rest day and Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

Finally, from the Namche Bazar, we will begin our helicopter tour. We will have a Heli Flight from Namche Bazaar to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft)/Kala Pattar (5,555m/18,208ft) and fly back to Lukla (2,850m/9,350 ft).Finally, from Lukla, we will fly back to Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593 ft). It will take around 40 Minutes  to reach Kathmandu from Lukla.

Itinerary

  • DAY 01

    FLY KTM TO LUKLA(2850m) Trek to Phakding (2650m)

    • Trek Distance: 137km
    • Highest Altitude: Lukla (2,850m/9,350 ft)
    • Trek Duration:7-8 hrs.
    • Meals :Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch

    A morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla on the first day. After around 30 minutes, you will reach Lukla. As you approach Lukla airport, take in the spectacular mountain range. At the airport, your porter will be introduced to you.After a delicious breakfast in Lukla, you will begin your Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour.From Lukla now, we will head to Phakding. From the airstrip, drive north to Chheplung (2700m), where you’ll cross the Thado Koshi River on a local-style suspension bridge.The peaks Kusum and Kanggru (6367m), some of the most challenging trekking peaks to climb, can be seen just across the bridge. You will continue on your ascent to Phakding, a lovely settlement.

     

     

  • DAY 02

    PHAKDING TO NAMCHE (3440m)

    • Highest Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,285 ft)
    • Trek Duration: 6-7 hrs.
    • Meal: Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch

     

    On the second day, we will hike to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. On the journey to Namche, you cross the Dudh Kosi River five times on spectacular suspension bridges draped with prayer flags.You will continue your ascent after crossing the last bridge, gradually leading you to Jorsale. Namche is a two-and-a-half-hour climb with two viewpoints along the route.As the trip continues into a river valley with towering rhododendron-pine and fir forest to cross the last and highest bridge to Namche Bazaar, the trail winds uphill with views of Everest-Lhotse and Kongde peaks before arriving at the famous Namche Bazaar at the height of 3,440 meters.

  • DAY 03

    Rest day and Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

    To avoid altitude sickness, acclimatization is critical before progressing higher. You will be escorted on a day hike through Khunde and Khumjung villages before returning to Namche through the Everest View Hotel Khumjung. The so-called Yeti skull can be seen in the region’s monastery. You can also pay a visit to the world’s highest bakery.Visit the National Parks Museum at the top of the mountain for intriguing information about the Khumbu region, including the history and culture of the Sherpa people and information on flora and fauna and mountaineering expeditions.

     

  • DAY 04

    Heli Flight from Namche Bazaar to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft)/Kala Patthar(5,555m/18,208ft) and fly back to Lukla (2,850m/9,350 ft)

    • Highest Altitude :Kala Patthar(5,555m/18,208ft)
    • Trek Duration :3-4 hrs.
    • Meals :Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch

    In roughly 35 minutes above the Everest region, we fly from Namche Bazar to Mt. Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar. We take a ten-minute break at base camp to congratulate ourselves on reaching the summit.The most incredible views of Mt. Everest and the Khumbu Icefall may be observed from Kala Patthar. The sight of the snowy peak is stunning in clear weather. With the touch of newborn sun rays, the entire Himalayan shines. Although there may be no sky here, you can take in a 360-degree panorama of Kala Patthar’s breathtaking peaks.

    Then it’s on to Namche for breakfast at the Everest View Hotel. We’ll have a lovely breakfast in the hotel with spectacular views of the mountains right in front of us. We will now return to Lukla Airport from the Everest View Hotel. We’ll take another 15 minutes to get there.

     

  • DAY 05

    Fly back to Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593 ft) from Lukla (2,850m/9,350 ft) - 40 minutes.

    You’ll be returning to Kathmandu once more. After 45 minutes, you will be in Kathmandu. As soon as you arrive at TIA, you will be driven to your hotel. You can rest there for a bit. This is where the Everest Base Camp helicopter tour concludes. For your flight, you will be transferred to TIA. You can even go to a neighbouring attraction before your flight if you choose.
