The Annapurna Circuit Trek, which covers around 160-230 kilometers (100-145 miles), is a challenging yet rewarding journey that usually takes 15 to 20 days to complete. The journey starts in lowland communities and terraced fields and progressively ascends through beautiful forests, lovely villages, and tumbling waterfalls. The landscape changes considerably as you climb, showing spectacular snow-capped peaks, deep gorges, and bleak high-altitude deserts.

Crossing the Thorong La Pass, which stands at 5,416 meters (17,769 feet), is one of the attractions of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. This thrilling and physically demanding trek stretch provides breathtaking Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges vistas.     You will arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal’s lively capital city, on the first day of your Annapurna Circuit Trek. The sights and sounds of this bustling city will greet you as you land at Tribhuvan International Airport.

    After clearing immigration and customs, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will transport you to your hotel.

  • DAY 02

    Drive from Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft) to Jagat (1,100 m / 3,069 ft)

    You will depart Kathmandu on this day and drive to Jagat, the starting place of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Along the way, the beautiful drive offers stunning views of the Marsyangdi River valley, terraced fields, and attractive towns. You’ll pass through Besisahar on the way, where you’ll board a local jeep. You’ll eventually reach Jagat.

    As the trek advances, you’ll pass through picturesque villages like Bargarchhap, Timang, and Koto, each with a distinct charm. Throughout the trek, the sensational vistas of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Lamjung Himal will leave you speechless. You’ll eventually arrive in Chame, concluding this part of the journey.

    Close-up views of Pisang Peak and the majestic Annapurna II will meet you along the journey and undoubtedly leave an impression. After that, you’ll descend into the lovely Manang Valley and immerse yourself in its calm environment. Finally, you’ll arrive in Pisang

    Begin your journey from Pisang and follow through the Ghyaru, Ngawal, and Mungji villages. You’ll be treated to stunning vistas of Annapurna II, III, IV, Pisang Peak, Gangapurna, and Tilicho along this picturesque path, which will leave you speechless.

    As you continue your journey, you’ll notice a change to a cooler and drier atmosphere, which adds a certain beauty to the surroundings. Soon, you’ll find yourself in a Tibetan settlement immersed in its peculiar culture and environment.

    Explore the majestic Barge Monastery, Manang’s largest monastery, before reaching the busy Manang Bazaar, where this walk section closes.

  • DAY 07

    Acclimatization day at Manang (3,370 m / 11,056 ft

    This acclimatization day will allow you to adjust to the increased altitude while touring the lovely town of Manang. Take the time to soak up the local ambiance and admire this Himalayan settlement’s distinct charm.

    A visit to Gangapurna Lake is one of the day’s highlights. Furthermore, the jaw-dropping views of Annapurna III, Tilicho, Chulu, and Pisang Peak will leave you speechless. Return to your Manang accommodation after a day of exploration and acclimation.

  • DAY 08

    Trek from Manang (3,370 m / 11,056 ft) to Yak Kharka (4,110 m / 13,484 ft)

    Begin the hike by ascending to Tenki village. Along the route, you’ll pass through the picturesque Marshyangdi Valley and enter the enthralling Jarsang Khola Valley. You’ll pass through gorgeous fields dotted with Juniper trees along the way.

    You’ll soon arrive at Ghunsa, where you’ll see horses and yaks grazing peacefully. As you ascend further, you’ll pass a wooden bridge and continue your trek until you reach Yak Kharka, your day’s objective.

    Trek from Yak Kharka (4,110 m / 13,484 ft) to Thorong Phedi (4,450 m / 14,600 ft)

    After that, you will climb the mountain, following a narrow track that leads to Thorong Phedi. This area serves mainly as a base camp for trekkers preparing to traverse the Thorong La Pass.

  • DAY 10

    As you proceed, the terrain will change from barren hills to deep green forests, providing an abrupt change. You’ll eventually arrive in Tatopani, known for its natural hot springs. Spend some time relaxing and rejuvenating by soaking in the peaceful hot springs.

  • DAY 12

    Trek from Tatopani (1,190 m / 3,904 ft) to Ghorepani (2,810 m / 9,216 ft)

    The trail will take you further, providing stunning vistas of terraced farmlands surrounded by breathtaking mountains. You’ll also drive through lush woodlands with rhododendron, magnolia, and birch trees, making for a gorgeous scene.

    Finally, you’ll arrive in Ghorepani, which marks the end of this leg of the journey.

  • DAY 13

    Morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m / 10,532 ft), then Trek to Birethanti (1,039 m / 3,409 ft) and Drive to Nayapul, Pokhara

    Poon Hill is well-known for its panoramic vistas and is an excellent location for photographing the neighboring peaks. Return to Ghorepani for a well-deserved breakfast after viewing the sunrise.

    Continue your journey towards Birethanti, taking in the scenery along the way. After finishing your hike in Birethanti, you’ll drive to Nayapul, which connects to Pokhara. Here you may unwind and reflect on the fantastic experience you’ve undertaken.
